I forgot to mention.....

I forgot to mention that i recently added Coupon Database to my page. Just Scroll to the bottom of the page, and type in what you need, hit Search, and it'll tell you if there are any available coupons for that product, when they expire, and better yet, where you can get them from!! {if they are still available!!

Hope it comes in handy!!!!

OK!!! sorry about that, I tried modifying the database, you can see the updated version here. Now you now longer have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the Coupon Database!!
Hope this makes it easier to use the it.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or tips, I'd be more than happy to see them!!!

It pays to recycle!!!

It sure does pay to recycle!  I’ve been a member of Staples rewards program for quite some time now. Last month, I recycled 10 ink cartridges, and you get 2 rewards point, per cartridge, so I received a total of $20 in rewards, and with that, I was able to get this:

Three 12ct packs of Quitled Northern on sale at Staples for 5.99 each.
{I also got a  King sized Snickers bar that my boyfriend ate before I got a chance to include it in the picture! :/ }
We got all that, paid ABSOLUTELY NOTHING out of pocket and actually left the store with a $.24 credit!

I’m so excited about this blog.
Soon, I hope to be able to put together deals and coupon matchups for you guys to help start your “saving” trips. Now, in order to do so, I’m going to need a little help and feedback from you guys. What stores do you guys do most of your shopping in? I know this may seem a little biased, but so far, I plan on sharing stores that I mostly visit, which are Walgreens, Target, Walmart and occasionally Pathmark.  I have been looking at Stop & Shop, and Shop Rite. So those two are currently on the works.  If there is a store you would like to see, submit a comment below, and I’ll see what I can do for you.
As sad as it is, I have to go, it seems my son likes the way my phone taste, as he is licking it like there is no tomorrow…. J gotta love him!

Target shopping trip

Hi everyone!
Today is my second day, and still trying to customize the blog to my liking. (yes! I’m a newbie!) I’m learning as I go along.
I thought it be a good idea to write about my new-found passion for couponing. While I’m no expert, (compared to what you might have recently seen on TV) I am getting quite good at it. I really don’t get why I wasn’t doing this before. It’s amazing how much you save with a little planning before your shopping trip.
I had several coupons from target that I have been hoarding around, and anxious to use them, I checked out what they had on sale, and I put together a short shopping list:
· Pantyliners
· Danimals smoothies
· Baby wipes
· Liz Lange apparel
I knew what I wanted to get, but I decided to walk around each aisle and see what other un-advertised sales they had. I was walking down the toy aisle, and I saw the adorable B.Parum Pum Pum drum marked down from $21.99 to $15. and I just had to get it for my son.
Next, I headed down to the clothing department and what do you know!!! They had a huge clearance section. It seemed as though luck was on my side because I spotted a pretty dress, and to top things off, it was a Liz Lange dress! Originally priced at $24.99, it was on clearance for $6.24. top that with my coupon the price was $3.24!
I was so excited about my store finds, but I didn’t want to over spend, so I got the rest of the things on my list, and headed to the register.
This is what my total purchase looked like:
· Up & Up refill wipes $1.87 {-.75 Target Coupon)
· Up & Up panty liners $.87 {-.75 Target Coupon)
· Danimals Smoothies 6ct $2.49 (-$1 Target Coupon + $1 Manufacturer Coupon}
· Dress (originally 24.99) $6.24 {$3 Target coupon}
· B.Parum Pum Pum drum (originally 21.99) $15.00 {no coupon :( }
It all came to a total of $23.69 ($2 extra, I forgot to mention I also got cars marshmallows for the kids)
Not bad! I saved a total of $30.52 including discounted prices and coupons!

OMG!!!! I'm Blogging!!!!!!!

Hi, and welcome to my blog. This is my first time doing this, so please bear with me as I learn along the way. I have wanted to blog for quite sometime now, but I hadn’t really found my “niche”. I hope that now I have. This blog is going to be about everything an anything that is going on in my life.
            I often find myself a bit lost, with no idea what to do with the craziness life throws at me. When I was younger, I found it helpful to write things down. It was another way for me to “let go” of what I was holding in. that’s enough about my bad self, I just hope that you enjoy this blog, as much as I’m enjoying writing it. In addition, I hope that I can help and be helped along the way.
